PRECLINICAL IMAGING INSTRUMENTS

In the fall of 2011 we introduced to the Scientific Imaging Community, a new innovative research tool: the Animal Handling System (AHS).

These systems are a multiple component, suite of technologies for true high throughput, preclinical imaging in a Multi-Modality laboratory environment.

Though imitated by our competitors, these are “The Original”, patented, two piece axial coupled animal bed systems and still the highest quality instruments on the market.

“We truly innovated and change the status quo of the preclinincal imaging scanner market today with our new product designs.”

These instruments were created to solve the persistent issues associated with Multi-Modality Imaging.

Our methodology assists the researcher in the follow:

Repeatable Specimen Body Positioning day after day for longitudinal studies and quick ROI acqusition
Containment Concepts for BSL-2 Work
Easy and Quick Loading of the animal onto the bed system.
Transporting and Interfacing the animal in a highly repeatable manner (better than 50 microns) between a variety of different scanner/modalities including MRI, CT, PET, SPECT,  and Optical (FTM).

One of the core foundational advancements is our unique Coupling System which allows for our novel bed to interface to any research tool if given the proper positioning receive assembly: The “Plug and Scan™” system. When engaged, allows for physiological monitoring, thermal regulation, and anesthesia communication to the animal instantaneously. One no longer needs to disconnect and reconnect a  plethora of tubing and leads. Everything required for most studies is integrated into the core system components.

“These systems represent an Innovative Approach to the Loading, Handling and Containment of Animal Models in the Preclinical Imaging Environment; epitomizing the concept of Life Sciences Research Tools”. “Designed by Scientists for Scientists”
